Google Chat and Meet are apps included in the Google Workspace Suite of tools. They allow for creation of chat spaces that allow you to group teams and projects to allow for ease of communication and collaboration.
Other Third Party Services
Aside from Google Chat there are some third-party chat apps that are designed to help businesses communicate better like Slack.

Starting a new project that you need share updates, links, get feedback and allow visibility for multiple stakeholders:
